Green Building Council Cameroon is an organization committed to promoting sustainability in the built environment in Cameroon. We aim to raise awareness of green building practices and encourage the implementation of sustainable strategies through our member organizations.

We provide a platform for our members to share knowledge, network and collaborate with each other on green initiatives. We also work with stakeholders from the public and private sector to ensure that our green building standards are adopted and implemented by all parties.

We believe that sustainability should be a fundamental component of any building or development project, and are committed to making Cameroon a pioneer in green building practices.

Our mission

We want to transform the building industry in Cameroon towards sustainability by promoting the adoption of green building practices and technologies, educating stakeholders about their benefits, and advocating for policies that support sustainability. The organization aims to facilitate the creation of a built environment that is environmentally responsible, socially equitable, and economically viable, and to improve the quality of life for all Cameroonians. The Green Building Council of Cameroon also seeks to foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing among stakeholders in the building industry, and to provide training and certification programs to professionals in the sector.

CEO

Town Planner, Specialized in Eco- construction and management of real estate projects in Africa. Headed and managed huge construction projects in Cameroon and Equatorial Guinee, amongst which the Chad Cameroon pipeline. Worked for various construction companies in the country as project manager, Technical director and consultant.
